What are Purchase to Pay implementation success factors?

You have decided you want to increase spend control and optimise cash management through end to end procurement and finance digitisation and automation. Considerations are being made – starting upstream with procurement or downstream with accounts payable. Or both at the same time. Ensuring suppliers and stakeholders are onboard. Starting with one business unit or all at the same time, one country at the time or not. Deciding how to make sure you stay on track and manage to tackle possible challenges along the way.

During this discussion you will discuss that and;

  • How do you secure internal commitment?
  • How do you ensure high level compliance and system usage in the organization?
  • How do you secure efficient processes that reduce TCO (total cost of ownership)?
  • Which KPIs should you follow up?

Join the Theme Discussions hosted by Yannick at adidas Global Business Services. Peers will only will be joining these sessions – making them truly precious opportunities to as questions and learn from people you would not have met otherwise.

How do you centralize S2P Services under a GBS/FSSC center structure?

Adidas have centralized most of their Source 2 Pay services into two Global Business Service Centers (GBS). They have implemented ServiceNow as a Service Management tool in order for the business to interact with the GBS centers related to a variety of services which are being offered across several Finance Departments. Within this tool Adidas have also created a knowledge base where tutorials, Videos and QRG are being stored which should help the business with their questions. During this session you can learn from Adidas experiences creating a centralised knowledge base and discuss within the group;

  • How are you organizing source to pay services?
  • What role does centralized serve management play in the bigger source to pay efficiency and effect strategy?
  • What are the lessons learned centralizing service management?
  • How does the GBS/FSSC work with change management ensuring the business seek and use the knowledge base?
