A prominent technology analyst for most of his career, Magnus has deep expertise in strategic sourcing, procure-to-pay and other procurement software categories. He has a keen eye for identifying global opportunities and developing market strategies given his extensive knowledge of the landscape. Plus, his technical acumen is instrumental in crafting sales and marketing messaging and positioning.

 

Prior to Basware, he was an analyst at Spend Matters, a global content community and hub for procurement, finance, treasury, and supply chain professionals, as well as Gartner, a leading research and advisory company. He started out in the early 2000s in direct materials procurement at AstraZeneca and worked in various procurement and strategic sourcing roles at Scandinavian Airlines, IBX, Atlas Copco Tools, Effective Sourcing AB and SAAB.

She has been responsible for reducing costs through improving purchasing processes and establishing a procurement function. That unit administrating all purchases, creating orders and following up supplier agreements are used as intended.

He has been +15 years with Maersk and for more than a decade been responsible over e-sourcing & e-auctions.

Maersk have executed +10,000 e-auctions across industries and in all parts of the world.

Jacob have just recently released a book called “A Practical Guide to e-Auctions for Procurement” which is widely recognized as an important source of intel for any procurement organizations wanting to learn more about how to develop sourcing further.

Responsible for Portfolio, Programmes, Projects, Business Analysis/Strategic KPI, and Business Case Development and management function globally for the Global Procurement Group.

Focus includes, globalising project management standards for various category management functions (including global IBX operations) within Procurement, Know Your Supplier (KYS) Management, Risk Management and S2P improvements, including PO Management, RPA, contract compliance, supplier records management and catalogue management.

The role is about framing, conceptualizing and establishing the Automation & AI strategy and strategic objectives for Ericsson. It requires collaboration across the whole Automation & AI flow from innovation to operations to ensure execution of the strategy towards agreed targets, influencing operation strategies across the company.
